We are looking for an Engineering Lead to manage the different web projects and the distributed web team at Pixelmatic!

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON: INFINITE FLEET

Infinite Fleet is an ambitious MMO strategy game. It is set in space in the near future, where humanity has expanded and established several colonies across nearby star systems. But a ferocious alien race - the Atrox - has been decimating the human race. As a player, you will be assigned the command of a fleet of next-generation spaceships that will help to turn the tide.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Oversee the daily operation, infrastructure, security and development of the company’s websites
• Participate in the adoption of best practices and process improvements, recommend technological developments and improvements for efficiency.
• Understand and collaborate with the relevant team on the complete product life cycle from conception to execution
• Lead the Web team and participate in the hiring process of its engineers
• Frequent reporting to VP of Engineering
• Perform other related duties in line with assignments.
  
  
  

ABOUT YOU

• At least 4 years of experience in a similar position / with similar responsibilities.
• You are familiar with Angular and Typescript.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; you are fluent in English and have the ability to explain and deliver accurate information.
• You have experience in managing and leading a team.
• You are a team player with good problem-solving skills. You are organized and highly detail-oriented.
• You must be knowledgeable about best practices and cybersecurity.
• It will be a big plus if you are familiar with/interested in the gaming industry and cryptocurrencies.
