We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to join our development team!

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON: INFINITE FLEET

Infinite Fleet is an ambitious MMO strategy game. It is set in space in the near future, where humanity has expanded and established several colonies across nearby star systems. But a ferocious alien race - the Atrox - has been decimating the human race. As a player, you will be assigned the command of a fleet of next-generation spaceships that will help to turn the tide.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Design and write meaningful test cases
• Test manually our mobile, desktop, and browser applications
• Collaborate actively in our deployments
• Work closely together with your developer teammates in reproducing and debugging issues
• Proactively hunt for issues in production systems
• Report, prioritize, track, and manage deficiencies
• Use the automation test tools to run regression tests
• Work closely with the Engineering Lead, QA Automation
• Perform other related duties in line with assignments
  

ABOUT YOU

• At least 1 year of experience as Software QA Engineer (or equivalent)
• You are familiar with testing tools and methodologies, functional and structural testing design techniques. You also have basic knowledge and understanding of automated testing processes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; you are fluent in English and have the ability to explain and deliver accurate information
• You are a team player with good problem-solving skills. You are meticulous and highly detail-oriented
• You are skilled in the use of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
• It will be a big plus if you are familiar with/interested in the gaming industry, and if you have a Software Tester Certification
